Fred & Faith Mission Updates!

Dear Partners and Friends,

We are so grateful for your continued partnership and prayers. We keep going because we have faithful and committed partners like you.

Mission Base House Project

We are thrilled to report that the Mission Base House is now 60% completion! The walls are up, roofing is in place, the doors are done, window frames are done and electrical wiring has begun. This place continues to be a hub for our community discipleship programs and training center for local leaders.

We still need to complete the plumbing, plastering, and the interior finishes. With your continued support, we believe we can finish strong in the coming months.

We are grateful this year for the good harvest at our mission base (community garden). We produced a good amount of cooking oil from the sunflower we harvested. Our goal is to start farming (gardening) all year through when we have water system to water the garden.  Gardening is our new community empowerment project and approach for sharing the good news of the Kingdom of God and make disciples.

Ministry Growth

We are excited to share the updates from our growing ministry in Zambia Africa. Over the past few months, we visited few more villages to share the gospel of the Kingdom of God. We’ve also seen an encouraging participation in community services. Weekly Bible studies have increased in attendance, and we also continue reaching neighboring and far villages. Testimonies of transformed lives keep reminding us why we do what we do, and we are so grateful that you are part of every life’s transformation here in Africa and beyond. The preschool we support in our village has now 31 kids and we are excited and grateful for the work that our teacher is doing to teach these kids.

We are so grateful for the donations of the bibles and also the books for the kid’s ministry. The kids’ books make our ministry work so easy.

Early this month, we were supposed to start our new ministry on the village, but it couldn’t work out because the train schedule was cancelled. The train engine was broken. We will give another try next time (God willing).

Unfortunately, few weeks ago we had a serious break down with our Van. Thank God we managed to fix the broken parts, though we just reconditioned the parts. And again, we are so grateful to have a team like you.

How You Can Pray

Update on our baby girl (Hadassah); many at times when we pray for something, we always want to see results right away. When we don’t get or see results, we become so discouraged or want to give up. God tells us, to wait patiently, not to be discouraged, not to lose faith in Him, and not to worry. He said, “At the right time, I the Lord will make it happen immediately.” Our daughter had MRI scans and other tests done and her brain MRI report was not good unfortunately. She has tumor and other things in her part the brain, and her doctor has already tried two types of seizure medications which didn’t work on her. Right now, her case is being brought up at the team (Doctors) meeting, and she may have a possibility for surgery to help maintain her seizure disorder. Please continue to pray for her/us.
